Dressed to the nines 

stocks a range of fashion clothing and accessories with a alternative and vintage twist, including dresses, skirts, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, handbags, belts, hair flowers and hair bows all of the retro, rockabilly, emo persuasion. Many of these items are DIY or handmade original designs.

We are a purely online based retailer that started in 2007. Only being small means we can offer you a much more personal service and we will do our best to accommodate you, although it can make it hard work at times if we’re busy, so please be patient with us! Were doing our best i promise!

I’ve always been into art and crafty stuff as I was brought up by a crazy, musical, arty farty family. I have loads of nerdy hobbies like painting, reading, gardening, horse riding and of course my fluffy children. After finishing A-levels(including art) I was offered a place at Portsmouth uni and started a degree in a fashion and textile design but decided that it wasnt for me, and soon left.

Fast forward a couple of years and many boring jobs later and we get to dressed to the nines!

A little bit about our dresses….

Inspired by retro glamour, the music and tattoo scene our garments are full of unusual little design touches. This teamed with limited runs on fabric and our completely unique patterns means that you are guaranteed to get an original emo, rockabilly, vintage, styled garment that looks great.

All our dresses are hand designed, made and finished in the UK to order, so you can wear your dress with pride knowing that only ethical labour was involved in the production. With every dress you buy you will also be supporting small UK businesses whilst limiting air miles so it’s better for the environment too!

We try to use quality materials such as 100% cotton to give you a long lasting garment. We make sure that our materials are all pre-shrunk/washed to minimise shrinkage and colour bleeding to the dress after purchase and all garments are overlocked to help stop any fraying at the seams.
