Postage and Packaging

We are able to offer 3 different choices for postage.

Royal mail 1st class recorded delivery, UK ONLY - Quick and easy to use
1-2 working days delivery time once posted, Proof of posting, Signature on delivery, Up to £36 compensation

Royal mail Airsure®, WORLDWIDE - Fast, assured service to 30 destinations worldwide
2–4 working days delivery time once posted, Online tracking and delivery confirmation, Up to £500 compensation

Royal mail standard airmail, WORLDWIDE - The cost-effective but safe way to send mail worldwide
3–5 working days delivery time once posted, non recorded and no online tracking, Compensation cover up to £36

Please note:
We do not make a profit on postage, we are just covering the amount it costs us for packaging&postage and infact it nearly always cost us more than we charge to get your items sent to you!

Since all items sent by 1st class and Airsure are sent by recorded delivery you need to make sure someone will be home to sign for the parcel when it arrives. Alternatively we are able to offer you a different posting address from the payment address at our checkout, enabling you to get it sent elsewhere such as your work address or a friends house where you know there will be someone home to receive the items.

Delivery times run from after an order has been processed and not from date of payment

For UK packages generally your parcel should arrive within 3-5days after cleared payment, for international it is 7 - 10 days.

Allowances should also be made for orders placed on weekends and at busy times of the year such as Christmas, New Year or bank holidays.

For clothing that is custom made please allow at least 14 days for delivery as these items are hand made to order and one-offs.
For all other handmade items such as jewellery and bows please allow at least 7 days for delivery.

Royal mail and not Dressed to the nines is responsible for any delays or items lost or damaged once they have been posted and as such any claims for items should be made with them, we are happy to provide proof of postage or tracking numbers(which we get with every item posted) to help you claim compensation for lost goods.
For your own protection, we recommend choosing a postage option that insures you for the value of the goods.

We cannot be held resposible for any unforseen tax or import duty on items sent to countrys outside the EU. Any added charges are the resposibility of the recipient.
